Begonia dryadis has iridescent leaves that look blue in direct sunlight or in shade with a flash of light.
Begonia dryadis is native to China and Laos, living in forest understories by streams, at an elevation of 600-1200 m. Its growth and requirements are similar to B. Pavonina.
